 The week of July  6

Eric Birkes used a 7-wood to score a hole-in-one on the 161-yard 2nd hole at Irondequoit Country Club.

Lou Castaldi used a 5-hybrid club to ace the 163-yard 11th hole at Bristol Harbour Golf Club.

Tom Chiovoloni used a 6-iron to score a hole-in-one on the 166-yard 5th hole at Lake Shore Country Club.

Dexter Dyer used a 9-iron to ace the 141-yard 7th hole at Shadow Pines Golf Club.

Dody Hess used a 9-wood to score a hole-in-one on the 127-yard 16th hole at Woodlyn Hills Golf Club.

Sue Loson of Brighton used a driver to score a hole-in-one on the 128-yard 4th hole at Shadow Lake Golf & Country Club's Executive Course.

Ed Hoefler used a 9-iron to ace the 130-yard 8th hole at Ravenwood Golf Club.

Larry Kilmer used a 9-iron to score a hole-in-one on the 130-yard 7th hole at Latta-Lea Golf Course.

 The week of July 13

Lightning struck twice in one week for Brighton resident Sue Loson, who on June 27, recorded a hole-in-one on the  128-yard 4th hole at Shadow Lake Golf & Country Club's Executive Course, only to follow that effort up with another ace -- on the same hole -- on July 3. And yes, she used the same club -- driver -- for both shots.

Carol Beattie of Spencerport used a 7-iron to score a hole in-one on the 103-yard 8th hole at Deerfield Country Club's North Course.

Nick Berno used  a pitching wedge to ace the 133-yard 3rd hole at Eagle Vale Golf Club.

Auggie Dale used a wedge to score  a hole -in-one on the 135-yard 11th hole at Livingston Country Club.

Alexa Davies, 9 years old, used a driver to ace the 110-yard 7th hole at Arrowhead Golf Club.

Charlie Dispenza used an 8-iron to score a hole-in-one on the 148-yard 16th hole at Penfield Country Club.

Jeff Field used a 9-iron to ace the 140-yard 15th hole on Oak Hill Country Club's East Course.

Ryan Goldrick used a pitching wedge to ace the 130-yard 17th hole at Lakeville Country Club.

Bill Graby used a 7-iron to score a hole-in-one on the 160-yard 4th hole at Genesee Valley Golf Course's North Course.

Don Heslor of Penfield used a 5-iron to ace the 165-yard 2nd hole at Lake Shore Country Club.

Dick Kesby used a 6-iron to score a hole-in-one on the 145-yard 11th hole at Clifton Springs Country Club.

Dan Streicher used a 4-iron to score a hole-in-one on the 187-yard 7th hole at Ridgemont Country Club.

Mike Teodecki used an 8-iron to ace the 176-yard 17th hole at Ravenwood Golf Club.

Nick Weber used a pitching wedge to score a hole-in-one on the 108-yard 7th hole at Latta-Lea Golf Course.

Pete Wilson used a 9-iron to score a hole-in-one on the 138-yard 17th hole at Far View Golf Club.

Matt Zajac of Niagara Falls while playing in the 10th annual Golden Benefit Charity Golf Classic used a 7-iron to ace the 170-yard 18th hole at the LeRoy Country Club. Although the shot wasn't for the $5,000 hole-in-one grand prize, it did win him a Niki Sasquatch Drive for his efforts.
